the ISO 9000 series standards were published by International Organization for
Standardization (ISO, International Organization for Standardization) in 1987,
those standards were adopted to improve the quality of businesses¡¦ product or
service. In order to understand how to effectively promote the ISO9000 quality
system, our research was an empirical project aimed to establish a quality
system for case company in accordance with the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management
System.

Motivation:
The project tried to explore how to implement the
ISO 9001 management system, and then to establish a documented procedure system for ISO 9000
certification. Through the
empirical study, we want to establish a
quality system for Kymyo Company in
accordance with the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System, with sufficient quality manual and procedures.

Purpose:
After
understanding the ISO 9001:2008 clause requirements, we will establish a
quality system for Kymyo Company in
accordance with the ISO 9001:2008 with sufficient quality
manual and procedures.

Significance:
Our
project used the AutoCad software to develop an overall production flow chart
for Kymyo Company, not only deploying the plant structure to a detailed 3-level status, we
also use the hyper-link function to link the flow-activity with the established
procedure ( which was in Word or PDF file ). That will serve a good tool for
shop floor workers.

Because of learning by doing concepts, we
gradually understand the characteristics of ACCESS. First time , we just follow
the procedures of systems analysis and design, and propose a plan report. Alter
starting programming by ACCESS, we adjust our system design by ACCESS
characteristics. Actually we are not sophisticated experts of system analysis
and development, we will iterate our jobs between system design and system
development stages. In conclusion, it is a good learning experience.

the ISO 9000 system certification is through third-party¡¦s audits, the
auditor's role then becomes very important. Therefore, how can to be a good
auditor, and the qualification of a professional auditor, become a very
important issue.

Purpose:
From our research, using
questionnaire, we can understand personality characteristics and competences of
a qualified auditor. Results of our research can be used to the selection and training
of auditors for those third-party certification companies.

Significance:
From three viewpoints: certification
companies, auditors, and the audited business, we used statistical analysis from designed questionnaire to
explore the ¡§competence expectation¡§ and ¡§perceived experience¡§ among above
three roles.

Methods:
Designed questionnaire with Likert scales and other statistical analysis
tools were used in this study to explore the competences of auditors.

Conclusion:
From
those three roles¡¦ questionnaires, the focused personality characteristics
during auditor selection will be "rigorous self-discipline",
"fair and objective" and "professional capability". Further
ANOVA analysis showed that only one item about "the auditor can
effectively work under pressure" showed significant difference among all
those three surveyed groups.

The Shey-Lee is the manufactory that makes
large chain gear and small scaled gear. Since 1976, Shey-Lee has already
accumulated some experience for more than 30 years. In order to support
customer for their need on different market category, Shey-Lee stores every
kind of chain gear in stock.

Motivation:
The gear design and manufacturing level
will directly influence the product quality on industrial manufacturing. For
industry mutual implication, a study of production management of manufacturing
and industrial engineering and management has been analyzed.

Purpose:
Based on a study of production management
of manufacturing and industrial engineering and management, student at class
will support that they learned from the related knowledge to provide to
Shey-Lee some suggestions and method.
4.
Significance:
The Shey-Lee Company continuously promotes
technique and production equipment. Expect to bring customer more high-quality
service and adhere to be responsible for, the principle of management of
trustworthiness, profession, service and efficiency with raise product quality,
step-down production cost, give something back to social of need market.

Methods:
Seven disciplines from "competition
ability and production and operation strategy, product and service design,
capacity planning and layout, and manufacturing process selection, quality
management, and scheduling", a study of documents has been discussed with
Shey-Lee and advisor to make some conclusions.
6.
Conclusion:
The whole production process of chain gear gives
us precious experience to work with industry. Base on this special subject
report, we could learn a lot to establish a practical experience. In the
meantime, some suggestion will be provided to
Shey-Lee for some improvements.

After three semesters of subject study, a
good opportunity was given to the classmates to understand the operation
process. More than that, a practical experience of production and operation
process to the classmate is the biggest result of this special subject
research.

Introduction:
This study tried to find some existed
problems of Hsin-Lien Company by using on-site visiting, SWOT analysis and
Five-forces analysis. The results emphasized on technique inheritance,
moving line planning and employee recruited difficulty and proposed some
recommends for reference.

This study tried to find the strength,
weakness, opportunity and threat for Hsin lien Company. It made an analysis
based on this data and proposed some suggestions for their reference. It
emphasized on the topics of employee recruit and environment improvement.

Significance:
SWOT analysis, five forces analysis,
CAD/CAM system, increasing employee¡¦s welfare, moving line improvement,
setting-up database system.

Methods:
The team first visited the factory and
understood the environment of manufacture, production planning and system,
recognizing the machines, production procedure and outsource. This study used
the SWOT and 5 forces methods to analyze the situation of the company. If we
found some questions, the team went back to the company and took detail
investigation to recognize the reasons of the problem. After team meeting
discussion, we will propose some practical recommends.

Conclusion:
Hsin lien Company must improve the
environment of factory first, then promote the employee¡¦s insurance and
welfare. These measures will solve the employee recruit problem. After SWOT
analysis, this study proposed some recommends to Hsin lien Company. These
included: setting-up database management system, introducing CAD/CAM system and
improving the moving line of the production. It can reduce the unnecessary
man-power and waste of time and cost.
